Happy New Year!

Here we are in January with the first meet of 2005 already held – and yet again another cracking turn out of the regulars and more new faces coming to see what the region is all about.

It was really good to have some of the members of ‘FLOG’ turn up in an array of cracking MkI’s. I haven’t seen so many together outside of a show in ages and it’s pleasing to see more MkI’s back in the region again.

The welcoming nature of the region is attracting male, female and family owners who can all appreciate the laid back and ‘inclusive’ feel of our meets. I personally can’t wait to see how things develop over the year as word spreads (and the weather warms up!).

We are already starting to work through forthcoming events ready for the start of the show season so keep checking the site for arrangements and details. Rolling Road day details should be available soon!

Why not use the ‘closed’ season to clear out the garage and try to liberate some cash by advertising your unwanted spares, items, cars, etc for sale in our classifieds section – its free!

So, if you are reading this and have not yet been to the Derby/Staffs/Leics region, why not make it your New Year’s resolution to become part of one of the most active regions in the UK!
